Designer Lara Morakhia has launched an exclusive jewellery line ‘Zahra’—which has different meanings in different languages. “The Arabic meaning of the word is flower or beauty and in Persian it means sparkingly bright and beautiful,” said Lara about the collection.
There are unique one of a kind antique jadau pieces studded with gemstones ranging from earrings, kadas, rings and necklaces. Lara added that her jewellery gets inspiration from her travels and the culture of people and places around the world. “Zahra is a confluence of the Japanese culture and Indian traditions,” Lara said.
The price range for her jewellery starts from 22,000 for the silver jewellery and the fine pure line which is in gold and jadau starts from 36,000.
