Accentuating the curves of a woman and taking the influence from the old world charm, For their festive’19 collection they were inspired from the fashion in the early 1940’s where femininity describe women’s fashion perfectly.
The silhouettes in this collection are sleek, flowing and they hug every curve of the body creating a soft and feminine feel. The torso is elongated with exaggerated collars and sleeves keeping the backs deep and necklines low cut. Wanting to create an overall effect of complete sinuous femininity with a natural highlighted waistline and floor length flared hemlines, this collection is charmed with their fit and flare peplums, fish-cut gowns/sarees, low-cut blouses and draped saree gowns.

Anushkaa has used shiny and rich fabrics such as organza, silk amalgamated well with very free flowing fabrics such a Georgette. Ruffles, gathering, rouching are the stars of this collection.
The collection landscapes an array of motifs taking elements from floral patterns used in the 19340’s paired with contemporary embroidery designs. The embroideries are dipping in crystal and pearls, bringing in the final touches for the festive season. In addition they’ve used 3D flower embellishments and crystals tassels to complete the look.
The color palette for this collection has been soft pastels from mint greens to lilacs, light pinks going into off whites, peaches and aquas. The peaches and aquas are definitely our season favorites!
The campaign was inspired by the mood of the 40’s woman, keeping the hair puffed and short while adding a touch glamour to the make up. The collection for the modern day woman with an old world charm
